1. Finding, extracting, and analyzing old data is a clumsy process
2. I do all the calculations myself to get overall performance metrics
3. I have to run between departments to gather, collect, and present records
1. Pull older research documents for reference and study
2. Use calls and marketing to recruit test subjects
3. Read individual patient diaries and papers for medical history and data
1. I hope we can recruit subjects easily from nearby cities, states.
2. I would prefer having performance charts for each research that can be accessed by all participants.
3. If this helps me find a reliable way to do things, it’ll be awesome!
1. Uncertain and doubtful about the collected data
2. Excited about trying something new
3. Hopeful that she finds a solution to her problems.
● For all inclusion and exclusion criteria, patients have to visit multiple times
● Patients have to maintain diary notes for symptoms and medication, while researchers rely on patient memory or diary records
● Calling each patient, consolidating medical data, manually extracting relevant information, taking readings, and analyzing is tough and very time-consuming
● For collaborative work, researchers need to carry and maintain records most of the time
● Subjects and patients have to come to the research facility for scheduled checkups
● Recruitment of subjects for new research is done through marketing and presenting previous study data
